Michael has been helping people make confident financial decisions for over 25 years. He began his career in financial services in 2000 and has worked across a wide range of roles in the industry before joining ASET Wealth.
Michael specialises in superannuation and retirement planning, helping you make sense of what can often feel complex or overwhelming. He works closely with people approaching retirement, already retired, or managing significant wealth, providing clear, practical advice focused on real‑world outcomes rather than jargon or sales.
He also supports clients through complex estate matters — often at challenging or emotional times — helping you understand what happens next and how your wealth will be handled. Michael’s approach is calm and practical, with a strong focus on putting clear, workable arrangements in place that reflect what matters most to you.
Michael’s advice style is straightforward, thoughtful, and tailored. He believes good advice should be easy to understand, free from conflicts, and built around your goals and dreams. His focus is on long‑term relationships, taking the time to explain options clearly and helping you feel informed and comfortable with your decisions.
A lifelong Canberran, Michael completed all of his schooling and university studies in the nation’s capital. Outside of work, he is a passionate supporter of the ACT Brumbies and the Canberra Raiders, has coached at the Gungahlin Eagles Rugby Union Club for a number of years, and during summer can often be found on Surf Patrol at Mollymook Beach.
